Hemorrhoids will affect at least 90% off people once in there lifetime, so the chances of you becoming affected are likely. When finding out what are hemorrhoids, it’s best to know what the symptoms include to effectively treat this painful problem. Some of the symptoms for both internal and external hemorrhoids are bleeding during bowl movements. If you have internal hemorrhoids you’ll see blood on your stool or in the water. If it’s external you’ll see blood in the stool and on the toilet paper after you wipe. Another common symptom for both internal and external is itching. Also you’ll experience rectal pain, especially when wiping the area after using the bathroom.
External hemorrhoids are the more common form of hemorrhoids. These types occur in the opening of the anus. They are skin covered veins. They are normally blue colored veins but once inflamed or swollen they become red in color. They are extremely sensitive to the touch. Once they start to itch and burn the pain can become quiet intense.
